INTRODUCTION	BOARD	ASSOCIATES
MACBA Foundation (FMACBA) is a private entity promoted in 1987 by a broad cross-section of Spanish civil society. Its aim is to equip the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona with a permanent art collection.	The chairman of the Board of MACBA Foundation is Leopoldo Rodés and it consists of thirty-four members whose task is to see that the aims of the Foundation are fulfilled.	MACBA Foundation has a large group of companies and private individuals who constantly provide their invaluable support for the consolidation of the MACBA Collection.

ACTIVITIES	TAKING PART	CALENDAR
MACBA Foundation organises different activities for its associates over the year. In 2008 there have been cultural trips, guided tours of the exhibitions, previews, etc. The CALENDAR contains information about these activities.	Being an associate of MACBA means contributing to the growth of a museum which has opted for modernity, with a coherent programme committed to art and the present. Supporting the work done by FMACBA means associating the name of the company with the values represented by MACBA: “Innovation”, “Commitment” and “Contemporaneity”.
